In all honesty, spam filtering is best done at the SMTP level.
SquirrelMail probably isn't the best place to do filtering because of how
it has to do the filter. You could take a look at SpamAssassin, amavis,
RBLs, greylisting, and all sorts of other methods. However, if you insist
on doing the filtering in SM, take a look at the plugins page, I'm pretty
sure there is a whole section on filtering, and spam.
