Installation is fresh https://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-...2-php-mysql-pureftpd-bind-dovecot-ispconfig-3
Now i attached some pictures.
1. (options-English language selected, good characters in subject):

2. (options-English language selected, good characters inside):

3. I pressed Reply...

4. I switched to Lithuanian language in options, sent the same email, now i see empty subject, can't go inside email:

5. Sent to this mail box new email without lithuanian letters in Subject:

6. Pressed Subject:

7. And pressed Reply. No more lithuanian letters again:

Question: it is possible to reply to emails with lithuanian letters without problems with encoding (with default English language in Display Options)?

Where exactly is the patch? I have read it, but I'm not sure which patch
should be used. There is one patch attached to post
http://sourceforge.net/p/squirrelmail/bugs/2806/#a8bc - is it this one?

There is another patch that you mention in post
http://sourceforge.net/p/squirrelmail/bugs/2806/#baa7 , but I cannot find
it. Is it this other one? If it is, please explain where I find it, or how
should we search for it. It is not obvious for me, I have no idea.

There are 4 páges of comments, I haven't read all of them looking for
patches. Please say which post has the correct attachment (or patch
address, if it can be pointed directly).

For 1.4.22, use quoted_printable_fix-1.4.x-version_2.diff
If you're using 1.4.23, use quoted_printable_fix-1.4.x-version_3.diff
For 1.5.2, use quoted_printable_fix-1.5.2-version_3.diff

The latter two are posted near the very end of the thread

Re: Encoding problem

Hello Paul,

I tried to apply this patch

For 1.4.22, use quoted_printable_fix-1.4.x-version_2.diff
uploaded to the public main SM directory

patch -p1 < quoted_printable_fix-1.4.x-version_2.diff

Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?

IIRC, I tested version 2 of the patch against vanilla 1.4.22 so you
appear to have modified your code.  If you make modifications, you're
going to have to take responsibility for applying patches yourself.
Go into the patch file and make the changes manually.
